Private beta information
Understand the access you give.
Clear boundaries matter as much as a clear financial answer.
Read-only account connections
Mizen uses connected account information to show balances, transactions, and financial summaries. It cannot initiate payments or move money from your connected accounts. Bank connections use Plaid's connection flow.
Access is checked before a household answer is built
Partner views and financial summaries use the account and transaction permissions for the person viewing them. An aggregate-only contribution can be included in a household total while its transaction details remain hidden. Private activity is excluded from the partner's view.
Check the source of an answer
Important totals include calculation explanations. A saving total, for example, is the income included in that view minus the spending included in it. Investment returns are reported separately from changes in the account balance.
Missing data can limit an answer. Connection freshness and incomplete-data states help you identify when an account needs attention. The marketing examples are fixed samples, not a claim that your own accounts have been synced.
Hosting and waitlist access
The public website uses HTTPS. Waitlist signups are saved on Mizen's Railway hosting service. The public signup API accepts new entries but provides no way to read or export the list. Access to the stored list requires access to Mizen's hosting environment.
A partner's sharing restrictions are different from service-operator access. To ask about staff access, storage, retention, or security practices that matter to you before connecting an account, email hello@mizen.money.
Report a concern
Contact hello@mizen.money with a description of the concern. Do not include bank passwords, access tokens, or full account details in email.
